Welcome back! It’s a new year and a new opportunity to achieve epic greatness on the trails of another gorgeously wooded venue. On September 26, we’ll gather at Wintergreen Ski Resort near Charlottesville, Virginia for Xtreme Hike 2026.
This year’s hike will be shorter in mileage than some of our previous routes, but trust us—we’ve learned the hard way that Wintergreen miles aren’t like other miles. If you hike all four legs, the total distance will be 20 miles. Hikers will also have the option to cross the finish line after 15 miles, which we suspect many of your fellow hikers may choose.
We are incredibly grateful for our hikers and are excited to work together to reach our collective goal of $120,000 in support of the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
